A lawyer turned sales leader with a Master’s in Business Administration, she embarked on her career in telecommunications and enterprise sales with Etisalat. She later transitioned to technology sales with Oracle, where she further honed her skills and expertise. She has used her sales & business development acumen to drive impressive business growth in various industries across many sectors covering the African continent.
Her expertise in the technology and telecommunications sectors spans across sales strategy to enterprises and most recently to Central Banks and FSPs. Hannatu’s impact goes beyond the boardroom; as she thrives on developing long-term business relationships and is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment in the workplace.
Beyond her achievements in sales, Hannatu has demonstrated a deep commitment to driving and building capacity in others. She devotes her time to training and coaching on leadership, sales techniques, visibility strategies, and fostering growth. Her passion for empowering others extends beyond her professional endeavors, reflecting her dedication to personal and professional development.
Hannatu is currently the Vice President, Sales at Emtech, an organization focused on modernizing Central banking around the world for the web3 era.
She has served as Co-Lead (Nigeria) for Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL) and as the former Commercial Director for Women in Tech. She is also a dedicated volunteer, contributing her time and skills to organizations like WIMBIZ, Women for Change, and Marketplace Alliance.
She’s been recognized as one of the top 100 career women in Nigeria by 9 to 5 chick, was recently hailed as one of the top 50 women in Tech by FITC and featured on Business day Ng “women in business”
